Please check out our Frequently Asked Questions for quick answers.

Microblading, also known as semi-permanent make up, cosmetic tattooing, micropigmentation amoung others is a procedure whereby minute particles of natural and synthetic iron oxide colour pigments are implanted between the skins dermal and epidermal layer using either a manual hand tool or a hand-piece which holds a sterile needle or needle grouping. My work is created with a quality Digital Machine.

The procedure is both safe and medically approved when carried out by a qualified, competent technician.

This is probably better asked, ‘Who cannot have the treatment?’ People of all ages can have this done even if your in your 90’s it’s still ok to want to look your best. Men, woman, people with make up allergies, sufferers of Cancer and Alopecia. Anyone who would like to not have to waste time drawing their eyebrows on in the morning and smudging them off during the day.

It is so satisfying to perform this treatment and receiving that “WOW…Oh WOW!!” when my clients see the results. Eyebrows give the face such definition and emphasises your features and it is my way of executing my skills in an artistic form to benefit someone else. What a pleasure it is to be able to do that!!

The procedure usually takes 1hr 30mins. The procedure area may be a little pink a bit like after you have had an eyebrow wax but this will subside quite quickly.

Eyebrows will look a little dark when the treatment is first carried out, this will soften by up to 30% during the healing process which will be between 5 and 10 days depending on the individual’s unique recovery rate and by following the ‘post-procedure’ care instructions provided.

An effective topical anaesthetic is applied prior to treatment to reduce discomfort from the procedure which is solely used for the annual refresh treatment. During an Initial treatment a secondary anaesthetic can be applied to alleviate any discomfort during the procedure. Most people don’t feel much discomfort at all, while a few tend to feel a little discomfort if more sensitive. The specially develped needles are so fine that trauma is at an absolute minimum. The minimal discomfort that a client may experience is definitely outweighed by the stunning results that will be achieved.

You will be provided with post procedure aftercare instructions that must be adheared to for best results.

A sachet of aftercare balm will be provided to apply for 7-14 days after the procedure.

On the second day after a procedure is performed, a light dryness will form which is only dry to the touch which will fall off in a few days. During this time the pigmented area will look a little darker than your desired shade. However, after the dryness flakes off the colour will lighten by up to 30%. Do not pick or pull off any skin just let it naturally shed.

The results will appear very natural and your features will look more defined and enhanced. A weight will be lifted knowing your daily routine no longer involves drawing on your eyebrows. Some even feel confident enough not to wear any make up out at all!!

You might find your closest friends will recognise your changes immediately while others might notice a difference but not guess what it is unless you choose to tell them.

When applied correctly they can give the impression of a mini facelift making one appear 10 Years Younger without surgery. The correct shape can really open up the eye area creating a youthfull look.

The treatment is long-lasting therefore it is important to do your research and choose your technician wisely. Look for a technician that posts and advertises their own work, including healed photos. Ask to see a portfolio of their work or recent photos.

Not if you look at the long-term cost and effects. It doesn’t run or wash off and it is a great time-saver. No more wasted money testing new eyebrow cosmetic products that will never give the same natural hairstroke effect your looking to achieve and not have to re-apply. It’s always better to have a professional design your brows and once the desired shape is done it will be the same each time you wake up for a long time. You dont have to draw on wonky eyebrows each day and its even harder if you’re eyesight what it used to be!

Another tip, when choosing a Technician if the price is cheap or offer too good to be true it could reflect upon the treatment and products. Reputable technitions will have a high  standard of training, products, hygiene and clinical waste standards.

If you take Aspirin, blood thinners or anticoagulants a procedure consent form is required from your GP prior to initial treatment.

After treatment it is advised not to give blood for 6 months.

If you have an MRI Scan it is best to inform the radiographer that you have had eyebrow micropigmentation and they will cover them accordingly to prevent shadowing on the scan.

A £50 deposit is required on the consultation and patch test appointment which must be  performed 48hrs prior to initial treatment.
